CATTI and the Cell and Gene Therapy Catapult to establish shared training standards for advanced therapies manufacturing

The Canadian Advanced Therapies Training Institute and the Cell and Gene Therapy Catapult have developed an aligned training and assessment strategy for the advanced therapies manufacturing industry.

CATTI and bioMérieux Canada are joining forces

CATTI and bioMérieux Canada are combining their respective strengths to enhance the training of the workforce in advanced therapies and the production of quality control solutions (for the pharmaceutical industries). Through this agreement, bioMérieux will deploy over half a million dollars in analytical equipment and services in the training laboratory at CATTI at the University of Guelph in Ontario, Canada. CATTI is thus adding critical components of control and quality assurance to its state-of-the-art technological environment, crucial for any production under Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

New collaboration agreement with CGT Catapult

CATTI and Cell and Gene Therapy Catapult have signed a collaboration agreement to establish international best practice standards in advanced therapies manufacturing training.

CATTI opens a CGT training centre of excellence at the University of Guelph

CATTI has launched its first in-person training site at the University of Guelph through a partnership with OmniaBio Inc., CCRM and the university.

What our trainees are saying

CATTI’s Advanced Therapies GMP Onboarding covered many aspects of GMP in detail and provided exercises that helped me apply that knowledge for effective learning. Overall, the course was extremely useful and I would recommend it to anyone whose work requires knowledge of GMP.

– Newly onboarded HQP, Translational Platform, Production Team

The Advanced Therapies GMP Onboarding is an excellent training to understand the context surrounding GMP manufacturing. I highly recommend it!

– Newly onboarded HQP, Level 2 Operator

My team and I are intent on translating our research into a clinical trial. I just finished the Essentials of GMP manufacturing in under 60 minutes. It gave me a great overview of what the requirements and regulations for manufacturing under GMP means.
