About Us
The Canadian Advanced Therapies Training Institute (CATTI) was established to rapidly develop and upskill the biomanufacturing workforce needed to support Canada’s growing cell and gene therapy sector.
CATTI bridges the gap between academic training and industry readiness by delivering hands-on, industry-focused training aligned with current GMP biomanufacturing standards and best practices. Our programs are designed to help trainees build the technical skills, confidence, and autonomy required to succeed in advanced therapeutic manufacturing environments.
Led by a partnership between CCRM and CellCAN, CATTI combines expertise in commercialization, workforce development, and knowledge mobilization to address the growing demand for highly qualified personnel in regenerative medicine and biomanufacturing.
We offer:
- Virtual and live online training courses
- Intensive hands-on GMP bootcamps
- Company-specific onboarding and workforce training
- Training in aseptic techniques, cell culture, quality control, microbiology, regulatory compliance, and more
Our programs are designed to support trainees, academic institutions, and industry partners by standardizing workforce training, reducing onboarding burdens, and strengthening Canada’s advanced therapies ecosystem.
Throughout training, participants are evaluated by experienced instructors and receive a certificate of completion and assessment report upon successful completion.
